im back...
just completed compiling and editing a project.
everything's been going alright in skol.
starting to get a little stressed out by all the project deadlines coming up.
but im reali glad skol's coming to an end soon in 3 weeks time.
den its gonna be study week n finally exams.

its been a long journey.to have come this "far" to 1 yr in SMU.
recalling all the crying in the 1st semester.almost every other dae i wud oso whine to Nick n every other ppl who ask me abt my progress in skol.

this semester has lots of weekly and fortnight quizzes & assignments. although I haven't been Ace'ing all of them, but im glad i always pull through them wif more-or-less alright grades.
i still feel inferior to the ppl in SMU.like i will never be as smart as they are, or as enthusiastic about skol the way they are. which is prolly why im satisfied wif "more-or-less alright grades".

oh well, but life goes on as usual.
im just praying harder each day tt He sees me through it all.

anw,today's been a good n not so good day.
good becos Nick's mum has finally decided to return back to church or rather sfx to serve.although she hasnt quite decided which ministry she wants to serve.
guess today's sermon preached by Fr James was really good and apt.
not so good becos his mum told him tt they might shift house and name the ownership under him.
to Hougang.

im...not too glad to hear tt news.
i was just telling him yesterday as he walked me home.
tt im so glad tt we stay so near each other to be able to walk each other home.
or rather he walks me home.
i know Hougang isn't too far from Sengkang. but the thought of not being able to walk to each other's place,and to take MRT together from the same stop to other places just breaks my heart.
things i guess we both love to do together.=(.

but things are not within my control or his. so...nothing much i can do but pray.

yeah.anw,im feeling energetic still so i shall post a wee bit longer entry todae.
well,i slept from 3.15am to 1.50pm yesterday.n i caught a nap at his place halfway through watching Tomb Raider.
dunnoe why so tired despite having caught such a long rest yesterday.

anw, yesterday we went to some sinseh at Chinatown with Monica.
Monica was having backache while Nick had his usual shoulder ache.
I was fine.just accompanying Nick.haha.
so the sinseh was a middle-aged lady. the original sinseh was an old man, who has alr retired.

ya, so everyone there was like speaking in Cantonese.
well, wat can u expect from old people in Chinatown to speak but that.
so i was lost here n there until the translations came from Monica.
the super multi-lingual lady.man, she sure can speak a lot of language. just to name a few apart from English & Mandarin, Malay(cos shes a peranakan), Thai, Cantonese, Spanish or Italian.

yup.so she translated for us since Nick had some difficulty understanding the lady sinseh's bullet-speed Cantonese.
cos he only understands a little to get around.haha.

anw,the session was reali fast.n we left for late lunch at Kyo-nichi!
so we had our favourite collagen ramens and kinda had the whole place to ourselves. tt place is always empty during weekends. n it was raining, n we had our supposed to be piping hot ramen (it wasnt as hot as it usually is for some reason).
but it was tasty still.=).

Following tt, Monica suggested bringing us to East Coast Park for dessert at some highly-recommended HK Cafe.
a long ride, but fun. Monica's a natural joker.like Nick. so wherever we went, u put the 2 of them together n we always laughed our ass off.haha.
shes damn good at imitating different skin colour people n how they spoke.ahaha.
yeah,so the car rides were fun.

anw, the dessert was good. Nick n I had some mango thingy-mango pudding+ice cream+fresh mango bits.
Monica had a french toast.n we ordered a plain bo lo bun.pretty good.though i still prefer the one in Xin Wang with frozen butter & pineapple.
so we stayed there for a long time approx. 3 hrs or so. doing nothing but chit chat, laughed over all the jokes both of them told.haha.

n Nick n I ended pretty late for my old friend's bday party at Pasir Ris.2 hours late.haha.
so we stayed for slightly past an hour.dint eat anything there cos we felt awkward there.cos i havent met my friends for 5 yrs.n it was Nick's 1st time meeting them.
so we made a move soon after cos we were quite tired.
den i decided to go over his place, cos i started to feel hungry.so shopped in 7-Eleven n we bought quite a bit of things to eat.haha.
n we watched quite a few tv programme till midnight.
then he walked me home, n i drove him back afterwards.

for once he initiated to walk me back n not ask me to take a cab home.hahaha.=).
yeap.so tt was a pretty good Saturday.

btw, next week's gonna be retreat.
for once i wun be there as often as i always do.although i wud love to.
will be there only on Thursday evening, Friday morning & afternoon, entire Sat & (prolly) Sun.
cos Friday night i've gotta attend my cousin's wedding.so another guitarist will be there.

anw,i forgot to mention tt Nick's mum agreed to attend the next retreat in June.so PTL!
hopefully all goes well n all plans she made to return to serve the catholic church remains valid!
